Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Senior Lifestyle Home Management LLC ("Senior Lifestyle Home Management," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit our website, www.seniorclm.com (the "Site"), apply for a job with us, or contact us by phone or email.

Senior Lifestyle Home Management LLC solely provides nonmedical care. We are a Connecticut Registered Homemaker-Companion Agency, Registration No. HCA.0002605.

1. Information we collect

Job applications. Our online application at seniorclm.com/apply asks for your name, email address, phone number, home address, the position you're interested in, your availability, your experience, any certifications, your references and a cover note. If you email us a résumé, we receive that too. Please don't include your Social Security number, date of birth, health information or criminal history in an application. We don't ask for them at this stage.

Phone calls and emails. When you call us at 203-244-7409 or email customerservice@seniorclm.com, we receive what you choose to tell us, such as your name, contact details and the kind of help you're looking for. Professionals who refer a client to us by phone or email may share that person's name and contact details, and we ask them to do so only with the person's (or their representative's) permission. Our website has no contact, inquiry or booking forms.

Information collected automatically. Our Site is hosted by Wix.com. Like most websites, it uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed to run the Site and keep it secure. It also collects basic visit statistics, such as pages viewed, browser and device type, approximate location based on IP address, and the website that referred you. We may also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate. See "Cookies and your choices" below.

Sensitive information. When families call or email us about care, they sometimes mention a person's health, disability or care needs. Connecticut law treats this as "sensitive data." We use it only as reasonably necessary to respond to you and to plan nonmedical services, and we ask for written consent from the client or their authorized representative before services begin. Please don't send detailed medical information by email. Only staff and caregivers who are bound by a duty of confidentiality can see this information, and we never sell it.

Large language models. We do not collect, use or sell personal data to train large language models.

2. How we use information

  • To review job applications, check references, contact applicants and make hiring decisions

  • To respond to your calls and emails and to plan nonmedical services you ask about

  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site

  • To keep records and meet legal obligations, including Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection requirements for homemaker-companion agencies

  • To protect our rights and the safety of our clients, caregivers and others

We don't use personal information for new purposes that aren't reasonably necessary for, or compatible with, these purposes unless we first ask for your consent.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use or share it for targeted advertising. We share information only:

  • With service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as Wix.com (website hosting and our job application form) and our business email provider, which may use it only to provide their services to us.

  • With a background screening company, for applicants who reach that stage. We ask for your separate written authorization before any background check.

  • With caregivers we assign, limited to what they need to provide services, once services are arranged.

  • With government authorities when the law requires it. For example, Connecticut law allows the Department of Consumer Protection to inspect our records.

  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, subject to this Policy.

  • With your consent or at your direction.

4. Social Security number protection

We collect Social Security numbers only when needed, for example to verify identity as part of the background check Connecticut requires before we hire a caregiver, and for employment eligibility, payroll and tax purposes. We never ask for them on our website. We keep Social Security numbers confidential, prohibit their unlawful disclosure, and limit access to the people who need them for those purposes. When we no longer need records that contain personal information, we destroy, erase or make them unreadable.

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. We delete job applications from people we don't hire once we no longer need them for hiring or legal purposes.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards suited to the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Connecticut privacy rights

If you are a Connecticut resident, you may have the right, subject to law, to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal data and access it, including any inferences we've drawn;

  • correct inaccuracies;

  • delete personal data;

  • obtain a portable copy;

  • opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we don't do any of these);

  • withdraw consent to our processing of your sensitive data;

  • obtain a list of the third parties we've sold personal data to (we don't sell personal data).

A guardian or conservator may exercise these rights on behalf of a person under a protective arrangement. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and targeted advertising.

How to make a request. Email customerservice@seniorclm.com or call 203-244-7409. We'll verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. If we reasonably need more time, we may extend that once by another 45 days, and we'll tell you within the first 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you where the law allows.

Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw consent to our processing of your sensitive data at any time by emailing customerservice@seniorclm.com or calling 203-244-7409. We'll stop processing it as soon as practicable and no later than 15 days after we receive your request.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing customerservice@seniorclm.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We'll respond in writing within 60 days. If we deny your appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Connecticut Attorney General using the online e-Complaint Form at https://www.dir.ct.gov/ag/complaint/e-complaint.aspx or by writing to the Office of the Attorney General, 165 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106.

Some information is handled under other rules. For example, information about job applicants and employees is largely exempt from Connecticut's consumer privacy law. We still protect it as described in this Policy.

8. Cookies and your choices

Our Site uses only the cookies needed to run it and keep it secure, plus basic visit statistics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

9. Children

Our Site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Links to other sites

Our Site may link to other websites and services, such as Google Maps. Their privacy practices are their own.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we'll give notice as the law requires.
