How It Works: From First Call to First Visit
Starting home care can feel overwhelming. We make it simple, clear and unhurried.
Four steps
Step 1: Reach out.
Call us at 203-244-7409 or stop by our Greenwich office. We'll ask a few questions about your loved one and what's going on.
Step 2: Your free in-home consultation.
We'll meet with you and your loved one, at home or by phone or video if you prefer. We'll talk about daily routines, what's become difficult, schedule, food and cultural preferences, interests, family contacts and any special requests. It's free, and there's no obligation.
Step 3: Your written care plan.
We put it all in writing: the services, the schedule, how often we'll supervise the caregiver and how often we'll check in with you. You'll sign a written notice confirming our services are nonmedical, and you'll get a copy of the State of Connecticut's guide to filing a complaint, as Connecticut law requires.
Step 4: Meet your caregiver.
We match a caregiver to your loved one's needs and personality. Before the first visit, we give you the caregiver's full name in writing. Your caregiver will wear a photo ID badge at every visit. After the first visits, we follow up with you to make sure things are going well.
