About our care
What kind of care does Senior Lifestyle Home Management provide?
We provide nonmedical in-home services: companionship, help with personal hygiene and daily routines, meal preparation, transportation, end-of-life companionship and family respite, and 24/7 companion and homemaker services. Every client has a written, customized care plan.
Do you provide medical or nursing care?
No. Senior Lifestyle Home Management LLC solely provides nonmedical care. Our caregivers do not provide medical, nursing, therapy or hospice services, and they do not handle or administer medication. If your loved one has doctors, nurses or a hospice team, we do not replace them. We follow the nonmedical routines your family shares with us.
Are you registered with the State of Connecticut?
Yes. Senior Lifestyle Home Management LLC is a homemaker-companion agency registered with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, Registration No. HCA.0002605. Registration is not an endorsement of the quality of our services.
Do you offer 24/7 services?
Yes. We offer round-the-clock shift care and live-in companion and homemaker care (nonmedical) for seniors who should not be alone. Live-in care is available throughout Connecticut.

It depends on the schedule you need. Call us and we will tell you honestly what we can arrange.
Our caregivers
How do you choose your caregivers?
Every caregiver has at least two years of caregiving experience and completes a comprehensive background check before hire, as Connecticut law requires. Caregivers receive regular field supervision and ongoing training.
Will we know who is coming to the house?
Yes. We give you the caregiver's full name in writing before the first visit, and caregivers wear a photo ID badge at every visit.
What if my loved one and the caregiver aren't a good fit?
Tell us. We will listen and work with you to find a better match.
Paying for care and your plan
How can families pay for care?
We accept private pay and long-term care insurance. Call us at 203-244-7409 to talk through your options.
Will insurance pay for your services?
Coverage varies, and we cannot guarantee whether any insurance plan will cover our services. Some long-term care insurance policies may cover nonmedical home care. Check with your insurer.
Can we cancel or change our plan?
You can ask to change or review your plan at any time. If your plan does not set a specific length of time, you can cancel at any time.

How do I apply to work as a caregiver?
Visit our Careers page and complete the short application. We look for caregivers with at least two years of caregiving experience.
